In an increasingly globalized innovation environment, international collaboration has become an important pathway for companies to strengthen technical capabilities and expand industry influence.

Laifual continues to advance its development in precision transmission by working closely with leading universities worldwide, contributing to both internal innovation and the broader robotics ecosystem.

Through long term cooperation with institutions such as the Technical University of Munich, Cornell University, and the University of Toronto, Laifual integrates academic research with industrial application across technology development, talent exchange, and application expansion.

Collaboration With the Technical University of Munich

Laifual’s cooperation with the Technical University of Munich focuses on material technology and transmission system design for harmonic reducers. By integrating advanced material science research and precision manufacturing expertise from Germany, Laifual has improved wear resistance and operational stability of its products.

These developments enable harmonic reducers to maintain stable accuracy and consistent performance under demanding operating conditions, supporting applications that require long service life and reliability.

Joint Development With Cornell University

Collaboration with Cornell University centers on joint module development for humanoid robots. With strong research capabilities in robotics dynamics and control theory, Cornell University provides valuable theoretical support for joint level optimization.

Through this partnership, Laifual has developed high precision joint modules designed for humanoid robot applications, enhancing motion control and flexibility. These joint modules have been applied in humanoid robot projects across multiple markets and have received positive feedback from customers and research teams.

Innovation With the University of Toronto

Laifual’s cooperation with the University of Toronto focuses on intelligent upgrades for automated workstations. Leveraging the university’s expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning, Laifual has introduced intelligent functions into automation systems.

As a result, automated workstations equipped with these solutions achieve higher production efficiency and reduced labor dependency, supporting manufacturing operations as they move toward greater automation and digitalization.

Supporting Global Robotics Development

Through collaboration with international academic institutions, Laifual strengthens the connection between research insights and real world applications. This approach supports continuous improvement in precision transmission technology while contributing practical solutions to the evolving needs of the global robotics and automation industries.

Laifual will continue to explore collaborative opportunities with universities and research institutions worldwide, expanding the application scope of harmonic transmission technology across emerging fields.
